Grant Opportunities

Madison County has been awarded a second round of Microenterprise CDBG funding, providing $5,000 to $35,000 in grant funding for eligible existing or start-up businesses with five or fewer employees (including the owner). This is a strong opportunity for very small businesses looking to expand, stabilize, or launch.

 Key highlights:

• Businesses must be located in Madison County
• For-profit businesses only (sole proprietors, LLCs, corporations, etc.)
• Funds may be used for things like equipment, inventory, marketing, payroll, and working capital
• A minimum 10% owner cash match is required
• Funds are reimbursed after approved expenses
• Application deadline: March 2, 2026
